The game was started back on May 4th but was suspended due to rainy weather and was resumed yesterday evening. The game started with a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the fourth inning. Indian Valley had a base runner on second, nobody out and a 3-2 count on the batter.

The Lady Pirates once again hit the ball hard but it was the defensive miscues that racked up 6 total errors and allowed 9 unearned runs to cross the plate.

The Lady P’s scored 7 runs on 10 hits and drew 3 walks. Leading the way was Jocelyn Troyer who had 2 hits, both home runs and 4 RBI. Cassy Donaldson and Mya Gee each also had 2 hits apiece. Chelsi Rothacher also had a home run and 3 RBI in the front half of the contest played on May 4th. Rounding out the hits were Kori Gutheridge, Sarah Billman and Emma Gee, each with a hit. The 3 home runs pushes the Lady Pirates season total to 34.

The game was the last of the regular season games for the Lady Pirates but their tournament run is still alive. The girls won the Sectional Championship on Wed and will Play Tusky Valley in the District Semi-Final game on Monday, May 13 at Strasburg Park. First pitch is scheduled for 5pm.

Come on out and support your Lady Pirates!
