Game one vs Tri-Valley was a tough as Tri-Valley seemed to be able to get a bat on any pitch thrown and hit gap shot all game long. A bright note in that game was the three solo home runs the Lady Pirates hit. One each by Zoe Johnson, Chelsi Rothacher and Jocelyn Troyer.
The girls bounced back and competed very hard against Riverview. It was a 4-3 ball game heading into the seventh inning before Riverview landed a two run home run and was to get a couple more on the board to score four in the top.
The Lady Pirates are back in action tomorrow at Buckeye Trail. First pitch scheduled for 5pm.
